Global Monitoring Plan

The Global Monitoring Plan for POPs (GMP) has been established to identify trends, assess risks and establish priorities related to POPs (Persistent Organic Pollutants).

It provides a framework for the collection of comparable monitoring data on POPs levels in humans and the environment worldwide. These data allow assessment over time of changes in POPs concentration and their regional and global transport.
