REPORTING SC

The UN Environment/Chemicals and Health Branch is implementing the medium-sized GEF project “Stockholm Convention Integrated Toolkit to improve reporting under Articles 07 and 15” (in short, REPORTING SC).

The objective of the project is to facilitate the development, transmission, access and use of data contained in National Implementation Plans (NIPs, Article 7) and National Reports (Article 15) through the development and demonstration of an integrated electronic Article 7 and Article 15 toolkit, with the goal of improving compliance with the requirements of Article 7 and Article 15 of the Stockholm Convention.

Eight countries have been selected as demonstration countries in this project, with two countries per region, working with different GEF Implementing Agencies, at different stages of the NIP update process, and with different levels of compliance with Article 15: Cambodia, Honduras, Kenya, Madagascar, Republic of Moldova, Papua New Guinea, St. Lucia and Ukraine.
